Wordpress Theme: Web 2.0 Pinky!

This is my second Wordpress theme release after an overwhelming download of my previous theme Web 2.0 Blue. Just as alway, has a great use of colors and neatly centered in the browser. Gorgeous web 2.0 looks and can edit the top sidebar if you know some coding. It support widget and can easily modify colors and other thing if you have some basic knowledge in html and css.

Note: Tested on Wordpress 2.6

Simple Customizations:

After you have downloaded the theme and extracted it, open up style.css

Now you can customize the look of this site by editing this file.

a{ color: #49CE06; }

This is the color of you normal hyperlinks. If you want to replace this color with you own you can go to Ajaxload website and select the color you want and replace this color.

a:hover{ color: #3DB004; }

This is the color of your hyperlink when someone hovers over it. You can also replace this with the color you want.

The default logo can be replaced with a logo of 165 x 50 dimension.

This theme is useful if you have 5 pages or less to use in navigation as there is problem with layout if you don’t. If you want to hide some page use the plugin called Page Link Manager. If you know the solution for this problem, please share it with use using the comment field.

Hi Roshan, thanks for the great theme.

Just want to ask do you know how can I fix the misaligned header (Recent post and Recent comments)

here’s the plugin that i use:

other than that, you can see all the stuffs I add onto my blog at the sidebar.

oh, not to forgot that I’ve changed the CSS:
#logo a{
display: block;
width: 229px;
height: 50px;
background: url(skin/logo.gif) no-repeat 0% 0%;

Do I need to use the old CSS to fix this problem?

Hi Alpha

The problem is of the logo size but try removing your tag line to see if it helps. If you really want your visitors to see your tag line then i suggest you implement it into your logo like the Teckitech logo “its all about technology!”. If the navigation and the recent comment look alright then that should be solved but if not try revesing the css and add the same dimension logo with tag line. Don’t worry about Tag line for SEO because you can still use the All in one SEO plugin which will appear to the spiders.

I need some help

It appears that the comments section show up inconsistently. For some reason, the comments on

http://availablelightonline.com/blog/2008/08/04/the-hard-questions-asked/#comments

show up way differently than:

http://availablelightonline.com/blog/2008/08/06/set-free-or-can-not-make-bail/

http://availablelightonline.com/blog/2008/07/31/robert-ricciardelli-has-left-the-building/

plus, the comments remarks seem to not be able to distinguish paragraphs and runs it into one long statement with no spaces, take a look at

in my comments admin screen, it comes out as clear and defined paragraphs with adequate spacing between paragraphs.

Can you help me and tell me what is wrong? Thanks in advance

This theme is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO similar to Several3 at http://several3.jeremyreviews.com/. Was this inspired by it? I like your theme but wondering what it gives in addition to the Several3 theme ?

Yes you could call it an inspiration but major modifications have been made to its look and some new code has been added to its files to add functionality.

I made it look web 2.0. I removed that bold font on top, modified hover colors of hyperlinks, added more styles for feedburner meta and so on….
