This post is inform you that we have recently bought our new domain name www.teckitech.com. Previously it was teckitech.co.cc which was free and it was working great. Last night, i have received an email from one of our readers saying that he couldn’t digg a post that i made recently. I thought this was some kind of server problem but according to digg this was a spam problem. Yup! I guess all co.cc domain names cannot be dugg because of people creating these domain names in large amount and not using it in a way it should be. So last night i bought a brand new .com domain name from 1and1. It took about 15 hours for DNS to change.
I had a bit of trouble changing the url of uploaded images and by the time i finished moving all the files to new domain root, i found 53 broken links. I googled for a while and now everthing seems to be working fine. I had to remove the direct translation links because i have to create new ones for the new domain. It will take about a day or two to really know if everything is working fine. I have also changed feedburner feed URL and there should be no problem there either.
I am glad everything is back to normal. I kindly request everyone to update their bookmarks, URL’s and so on. I promise that i wouldn’t be changing domain name for a while ;-).
