A very funny spoof of Apple’s MacBook. The useless MacBook Wheel, a mock to Apple and their “creative approach” to designing new technology for their products. Not only does the MacBook Wheel do away with the keyboard, it has a battery that lasts for a full 19-minutes before needing to be charged. Unfortunately, it’s just a spoof and can’t actually be purchased, still funny though.

Once again the CGI professionals over at Tronic Studios produced this creative commercial, which “envisions larger-than-life versions of Sony gear, poured from chocolate. Tronic actually shot live action HD video from around New York City for the backgrounds, then composited in 3D modeled candy versions of headphones, a DSLR camera, a Handy cam, and a solid chocolate laptop.
Sony are always producing great commercials that advertise their products very well. Another great example would be their high definition television ad amazingly enough there is no CGI in this one.

In this CG clip, you’ll see “a large meteor that exploded ten kilometers above the Earth’s surface in Tunguska, obliterating 830 square miles of woods.”
The meteor - or comet fragment - was only a few tens of meters in diameter, according to modern estimates based on its 15 megatons energy blast. This 3D simulation, however, shows what something like Apophis ( a near earth comet ) will do if it hit Earth.
Though this situation is very unlikely (espicially with a perfectly round comet) and the fact that the whole world is consumed in an inferno, the clip still provides an entertaining “example” of what could happen.
